Associate Vision/Mission Statement:
Associates of Notre Dame de Namur are persons called to the charism of St. Julie Billiart, making known God's goodness in their everyday lives. Associates deepen their relationship with God through their life of prayer and their relationships with others who share the charism and spirituality of St. Julie. Associates collaborate with the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur in their mission to reveal the goodness of God in the world.

Associates live as faith-filled, compassionate, loving and caring Christian women and men who desire to proclaim God's goodness in all aspects of their lives. Associates are enriched, challenged and inspired by living out St. Julie's spirituality individually and collaboratively with the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur.

Learn how the Ohio and Nigerian Associates of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur connected across continents for Nigeria’s First National Convention of Associates. Explore their shared mission, discussions on self-care, prayer, and community, and the global bonds of faith and service.
From 1925-1998 the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur served Saint Alexander school, parish, and community in Villa Park, IL. In their honor a maple tree has been planted and a bench installed on the Prairie Path near the parish where bikers, walkers and runners pass by. A dedication ceremony was held on Saturday, September 16, 2023.
