Live The Good at New Life Furniture Bank
The Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur invite you to our next Live The Good opportunity at New Life Furniture Bank.
New Life Furniture Bank is a non-profit organization that partners with local social service agencies to provide new and gently used furniture and household items to families and individuals who are formerly homeless, escaping abuse and/or living in extreme poverty. Relying heavily on volunteers, New Life Furniture Bank serves over 1,300 households per year. The Bank also operates a thrift store in Sharonville which is open to the public.
Volunteers will be working in the warehouse sorting and boxing houseware items like dishes, cookware and linens. These tasks can be done sitting or standing.
We will begin our time with prayer and end with reflection and discussion.
