The Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur welcomed Donna Groene as director of mission integration for Ohio Province.

Groene brings 35 years of experience from Mount Notre Dame High School, where she most recently served as director of enrollment and strategic communications. In her new role, she will guide sponsored and affiliated schools and the Mount Notre Dame Health Center in implementing the Hallmarks of a Notre Dame Learning Community.

"I am particularly drawn to the Sisters' commitment to education within a global vision," Groene said. She holds bachelor's and master's degrees from the College of Mount St. Joseph in theology, religious education, pastoral care and counseling, English, and secondary education.

Sister Donna Jurick of the Ohio province leadership team praised Groene's appointment: "Her depth of experience, expertise, and spirituality will allow her to confidently lead our schools in mission integration."

Groene succeeds Meg Sharp, who retired in January 2025 after 30 years of service.
