Sister Benedicta Chang, SNDdeN. Sister Benedicta Chang, SNDdeN spent more than 40 years as an art teacher, from Charleston, SC, Villanova, PA, Washington, D.C., and Baltimore, MD.
She currently resides in Mount Notre Dame Health Center in Cincinnati and spends her time in her ministry of prayer and presence. Last month, Sister Benedicta treated Sisters at Mount Notre Dame to a presentation of her creative works. This included oil, acrylic, and watercolor paintings, ceramics, sculptures, drawings in pencil, sketches, and other media. She provided a delightful and informative commentary about them and shared some of the challenges of working in different media. This was a special opportunity for those present to learn more about Benedicta and her many artistic gifts.
