Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Health Center open to visitors? How are the Sisters adapting to the changes?

The Health Center is not accepting visitors and screening is in place for employees and necessary vendors. All deliveries are dropped outside of the building. Because we have closed circuit TV for all the rooms, Sisters can participate in the celebration of Mass in the chapel on TV in their rooms. Communion is distributed to Sisters in their rooms. Group activities and dining have been substantially changed to insure proper physical distancing.

There is no intersection of Julie Hall Sisters or Province staff with anyone or anything in the Health Center.  Julie Hall Sisters are preparing meals in the kitchenettes on each floor.  They have established protocols to keep each other safe.

Is the Province Office open?

Province staff are working from home with an enlarged “fleet” of laptops that are equipped with remote access to their office computers.  Occasional essential functions will require one or other staff member to come to the offices.  They will be avoiding all contact with Sisters on the campus.  The phone is set to voice mail which is regularly retrieved and routed remotely by our receptionist.

Future Events at the Health Center and the Chapel
