Catechists from Trinidad to the United Arab Emirates to North Carolina know the name of Sister Marilyn Kerber, SNDdeN.
Working with the University of Dayton’s Virtual Learning Community for Faith Formation, Sister Marilyn is facilitating instruction in Catholic beliefs, Christian morality, prayer, sacraments and Bible basics. This year, in the year of COVID, she has led more courses for more catechists than in any of her last nine years with the program. In 2020, over 7,500 people participated in the Virtual Learning Community.
Sister Marilyn, still through the Dayton-based program, is also facilitating courses for catechists within the Archdiocese of the Military Services, where participants can be anywhere in the world where American servicemen and servicewomen, and their families, are stationed.
