Guidelines for eco-friendly packed lunch

Following are some guidelines for making this packed lunch as ecofriendly as possible. Please pick those items you are financially able to accommodate:

• Organic food products – peanut butter, jelly, bread
• Canned beverages such as mini cola, as these will be recycled. You can even buy water in cans.
• Paper lunch bags
• Wax paper sandwich bags is a better choice than cling film. Cling film is one of the worst forms of plastic. It is not recyclable and it wreaks havoc in the ocean.
• Eco-friendly cutlery is a thing.
