The two women are: Julian of Norwich in England, born in 1342 and Catherine of Siena in Italy, born in 1347. Through presentation, reflection and discussion we will begin to consider Julian’s and Catherine’s relationship to God. Perhaps these women can be companions for our spiritual journey.
Marilyn Kerber, SNDdeN, is a Sister of Notre Dame de Namur. A consistent thread in her ministries has been an interest in and promotion of the spiritual growth of women as women of the Church. At one point in time, she taught a course for the Archdiocese of Cincinnati’s Office of Religious Education entitled, “Being Women, Being Church.” She believes that women’s gifts, developed, recognized, and utilized, enrich our world and Church.
