A day for women and men led by Brennan Hill, Ph.D.
Registration: 9:15 a.m. — 9:55 a.m.
Registration is required by January 27, 2011.
Cost is $25. Lunch is included.
There is a distinction between the Jesus of history (Jesus as he lived and died) and the Christ of faith (Jesus as he was understood and believed in after his resurrection). On this day, we will look at the Jesus of history: his times, the people around him, what life was like then, and the kind of person he was. We will look deep within the gospels, at archeology and history and search to better understand the life and death of this young rustic carpenter, teacher and healer.
