Jesus, whose love is without limits, gives us the goal of a lifetime. Year by year we grow in the ability to love one another as He does.

Jesus, on this sacred night, I ask you to give me the grace to love each of the people you put in my life.

"Open Wide the Gates and Doors. The King of Glory enters."
Reflection:
We have a strong fascination with royalty. The royal family in England, the first family in this country, kings and queens in countries large and small. Jesus proclaimed His Kingdom was different, characterized by the Beatitudes rather than the trappings of royalty.
Prayer:
Jesus, I know membership in your kingdom calls me to shift my focus to find ways to serve the poor. Help me.
