(Luke 18:35)

As Jesus approached Jericho, a blind beggar called out to him and Jesus asked what he wanted. He said, “Lord, that I may see.”

Reflection:
Such a simple request, “Lord, that I may see.” Like blind Bartimaeus, we, too, seek for sight.

Prayer:
Lord God, the tenacious persistence of Bartimaeus is a lesson for us all to turn to you in time of need regardless of the circumstances.
