Sirach 6

“A faithful friend is a sturdy shelter; he who finds one, finds a treasure.”

Reflection:
Long before the birth of Jesus, these lovely words were written in the wisdom book of Sirach, praising the blessing of a good friend.

Prayer:
Lord God, among your many gifts to us, a good friend may well be one of the most precious. We give you thanks.
