MORNINGS OF SPIRITUALITY -
Ignatius of Loyola: A Mystic in Action
Led by Mary Ann Humbert, SC
Was Ignatius a great mystic or a great promoter of Jesus Christ? We don’t usually think of Ignatius as a great mystic, but some scholars believe he was as great a mystic as the great mystic, he just didn’t write eloquently and was reluctant to describe his interior life. Also, he chose to devote his energies to developing the Company of Jesus for his companions in mission. He concentrated on finding God in all things, in every circumstance of his life. Let yourself experience this same love and concern of God in your life. Let Ignatius help you find God “in all things” in your life.
